OneTouch Verio

ONNETOUCH® VerioTM is a new, intelligent meter that provides blood glucose readings in just five seconds. It’s fast, easy to use, and delivers accurate results - ideal for the demanding environment of clinics and hospitals.

Key features:
  • Close-to-lab accuracy
  • FAD-GDH very specific for glucose and no reaction with molecular oxygen
  • GlucoFilter® technology filters out or adjusts for interferences
  • No coding
  • 5 second testing
  • Only a minimum of 0.4μL blood sample required
  • Easy-to-use system

Co-facial Electrodes for Consistently Accurate Readings

OneTouch® VerioTM test strip utilizes thin film technology with opposing noble metal Gold (Au) and Palladium (Pd) electrodes, applied using a specialized process — sputtering — designed to provide a uniform surface upon which reliable and repeatable chemical reactions can be initiated.

Fast draw with side fill

With OneTouch® VerioTM test strips you can:

  • apply blood on either side of the test strip.
  • easily see the test strip fill with blood.
  • get the result with a minimum blood sample of 0.4μL.

FAD-GDH Chemistry

For OneTouch® VerioTM blood glucose management systems, FAD-GDH is the enzyme of choice. It’s an enzyme that:

  • is very specific to glucose
  • does not react with maltose, galactose and molecular oxygen

These properties reduce the likelihood of interferences and potential elevated false readings.

Close-to-Lab Accuracy

To stay ahead, the OneTouch® VerioTM System is labeled to meet system accuracy specifications:

  • For blood glucose concentrations <4.4 mmol/L (80 mg/dL): 95% within ±12 mg/dL as compared to the YSI reference instrument
  • For blood glucose concentrations ≥4.4 mmol/L (80 mg/dL): 95% within ±15% as compared to the YSI reference instrument

100% of results fall within Zone A.

Zone A: No effect on clinical action.

Zone B: Altered clinical action - little or no effect on clinical outcome.

Zone C: Altered clinical action - likely to affect clinical outcome.

Zone D: Altered clinical action - could have significant medical risk.

Zone E: Altered clinical action - could have dangerous consequences.

Consensus Error Grid (N=6,030)2

OneTouch® VerioTM meters are enabled with OneTouch® GlucoFilter® - a technology designed to correct the presence of many substances that interfere with the accuracy of results. And it does so in just 5 seconds!

No Coding, Less Steps

Step 1: Insert test strip Step 2: Apply the sample Step 3: Result in 5 seconds
